This is about second chance love.

Where Good Girls Go TO Die

It was a bad idea from the beginning.

He was my brother’s best friend and the definition of unavailable.

But I didn’t care.

I had loved him for as long as I could remember.

He was worth the risk. He was worth everything.

But then he broke my heart as easily as I fell for him. He watched me fall, spiraling out of control, and as I reached for him, he wasn’t there to catch me.

So I ran.

Four years later, I never expected to see him again.

He was still my brother’s best friend, and he was more unavailable than ever.

He looked every bit the bad boy I knew he was, covered in tattoos and a crooked smile.

Guarding my heart against him was the top priority because Parker James was where good girls go to die.

Unfortunately for him, I wasn’t a good girl anymore.

Parker and Mason are best friends. And Parker has been in love with Olivia for years. He didn’t dare to make a move on Olivia fearing that he’ll hurt her and fear that he’ll lose Mason as a friend. But they did end up together without Mason knowledge. Parker thought that he can have his happy ending when his ex, Maddison, announce a shocking news to him. Olivia is devastated to learn that Parker had betrayed her and she ran away. She ran away from Parker, she ran away from her home. Four years later, Parker encounters Olivia at a strip club and he is shocked. Not only that Olivia is shocked to learn that Parker is now engaged to his girlfriend. She tries to be strong for herself knowing that Parker has moved on. But has he?

I was anticipating more angst and sadness but not much though. The book has two POVs, Parker and Olivia. We also have some glimpse into their past and thus making me anxious to know what happen between the two. The book majority contain about how Parker go caveman and possessive when Olivia is being approached by other men even though he is engaged to another himself. Do I like the ending? Yes, I do but I was hoping for more angst. Anyway, this book is worth the time to read.

His To Claim by Ashley Michelle #bookreview

“I don’t know which is worse—having your mate die or having them reject you.”

Shortly after reaching maturity, Scarlett finds her mate… only to face a painful rejection that threatened to cut her life short. No one told Scarlett reaching maturity would hurt this much, but she came out the other end stronger, braver, smarter, and a little less naïve.

Seeking to pick up the torn pieces, she leaves her pack for a town well away from her home, far away from her ex-mate who just can’t let her go even after claiming someone else.

All seems well until she wanders into Alpha Noah’s territory and she finds an unfortunate blessing. The Goddess has given her another chance at a mate—only it has to be with Noah, a demon wolf plagued by his own dark past. With tainted hands and a shattered heart that almost drove him to the madness once more, he has turned ice-cold.

Their wounded souls push and pull, but some things just won’t heal. Rogues have been ravaging their world, and in a war where hundreds of lives have been lost, revenge is all that’s left.

Is the Goddess playing a cruel game this time? When utter carnage surrounds her, will Scarlett’s inner luna rise to the challenge? Will Noah ever get to claim her as her mate?

In a world where families are pitted against families and bonds are severed as soon as they are formed, there are no guarantees.

I’ve been reading lots of good stories written by Wattpad authors and I’ve been enjoying it. This book is actually by a Wattpad author and her book is being published at Amazon retailer.

The plot is interesting to suck me into it and read it throughout the night without stopping. Scarlett is a she-wolf and she found her mate. She thought that she’s going to have her happily ever after ending but her mate rejected her. Reason due to she’s not strong and she cannot be a good mate for an alpha. Scarlett left the pack to study approved by her ex- mate’s parents but what they didn’t expect was that Scarlett went off their radar. She did not stay at the apartment his parents rent for her and she did not check in with them for two years when her ex-mate, David, managed to track her down. He demands her to come back but she refused and she ran again. Scarlett ran to a territory own by shifters and what she didn’t expect is that she found her second chance happiness, a mate. Is she willing to accept this union or is she going to run again when she realized that her second chance mate, Noah, is still in love with his dead mate.

This book has love, betrayal, second chance, and redemption. Very interesting for me. And there’re multiple points of views but mostly is Scarlett and Noah. I’ve through the night and I do not regret reading it.
