This is definitely a twist and I do enjoy this. 

Lara Church has been on the road  for seven years. After her attack at Seattle almost led to her death, she doesn’t stay long at a place. Instead, she took up photographing as her side job and went taking photos with her sidekick dog, Lincoln.

Now, she’s back at Austin when her grandmother had passed away and left Lara her house. Lara has been staying at Austin for some months when Texas Ranger, James Beck, stepped onto her land and talk to her. He wanted her help with the latest case and he knows that the Strangler is back and Lara is the key. But Lara couldn’t help them when she insists that her memory is lost and no therapist or psychiatrist is able to help. Ranger Beck doesn’t give up easily and he kept paying Lara visit so that she is willing to see a new psychiatrist again. 

Then another woman is murder in the same way. Ranger Beck knew that the Strangler will be coming for Lara since the victim looks so much like her younger self. But he needs her help in remembering what exactly happen seven years ago at Seattle. 

There are some characters appearing in the book that led you to think of them as suspicious characters. Although it’s kind of easy figuring out who is the perp but it’s the twist that caught me in the web.
